So far we’ve had 431 downloads of our study Perceptions, Practices and Ethics in Word-of-Mouth Marketing in the first 24 hours. We’ve received some great reviews as well as a comment that really struck me: “WOW. This is a big study.” Note: The study is 55-pages. In fact, it got to a point where we wanted to add even more content but decided to stop. I’m sure I’ll follow up and provide additional thoughts on what organizations believe is the primary trigger to stimulate word-of-mouth which we only introduced in the study. As for tracking downloads, technically we’re just using a click tracker since it immediately redirects to downloading a .pdf file so we can measure the WOM results that are generated for the study.
