Chris Heuer, executive director, BrainJams has posted a very personal piece on his blog where he reflects on previous business exchanges and questions the business ethics of executives at PulpFree which became the umbrella firm that owns BuzzMetrics.

Hmmm - is that how it came across? Funny, we never now exactly how something personal and difficult like that will be perceived I suppose. All I was trying to get across is that if people use, or are informed by someone elses work, it should be recognized. It is unfortunately all too common for this sort of thing to happen, usually to people without a voice that can be heard.
As I said in the post, I spoke with them about my business plan focused on conversational intelligence (hence the name of the company as Conversal) and tried to work with them, they were doing a portal model and a few months later they seemingly altered their business plan to focus on conversational analytics.
I guess people can draw their own conclusions about what that means, but I make no claims about anyone at that company other than the facts that I posted about our discussions and how we met.
