Stowe Boyd, an internationally recognized leader in real-time technologies, collaboration and social networks has resigned from his leadership post at Corante to start /Message.

In his Back to Basics post yesterday, Stowe indicated that he would remain a shareholder in Corante. Stowe’s former blog - Get Real - is still live but has not be updated since January 12, 2006.
Stowe is an old friend and someone I deeply respect. A few years back when I was running a start-up in the enterprise instant messaging space, I tried unsuccessfully to get him to become CEO of the organization but was fortunate enough to have his voice on my advisory board for the company.
The coming weeks and months are likely to very interesting for /Message, Stowe and his readers.

Thanks for the kind words. I didn’t actually leave Corante to start /Message, but I am planning to experiment with blogging in new ways that I haven’t tried at Get Real.
As I said, the primary motivator was my ADD, more than anything else.
